Why this house exists

Real life does not pause while you organize the diagnosis.

Michael was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at 16 and Crohn's disease at 22. His lived experience includes major interruptions, hospital stays, changed plans and the work of rebuilding ordinary life more than once.

House of Crohn's exists for the practical moments around the condition: the conversation before work, the backup plan before travel, the text when plans change, the boundary with someone who cares and the first small step back after a setback.

This is intentionally not Michael's complete medical story. CrohnsFighters.com remains the canonical home for that story, Crohn's orientation and the larger mission.
